Shantha H.N is a poet, author, and public speaker. She was born and brought up in a beautiful village in Kundapur Taluk, Udupi District in Karnataka, India. Growing up in close proximity to the sea, river, lakes, and greenery, she fell in love with nature. She has written poetry and articles since her school days. Shantha received her engineering degree from Bangalore University and has worked as a test and evaluation engineer for reputed companies in Bangalore.
Shantha writes her best essays and articles in her lush and sunny Abuja, Nigeria Life Camp home. It is her wish to transport readers to colourful places through flashes of the vibrant narrative. She’s been self-published four books, and she considered it as a learning curve. She and her husband were married in 2008 and have raised two curious children.
It’s mostly just for me to ramble about the things that make me think, learn and reflect. Along with this, my ultimate crusade is to inspire and motivate. Here, I try to post twice a month – the Wednesday. I post other things when it occurs to me to do so, but you can find me online in other places too.

The Author, Shantha H N has kept the readers in mind and structured the book in simple and easy to understand. It comprises of selective 55 elements of success and starts with quotes, the biographies picked are able to convey the message visually, the common barriers, and tips to overcome those barriers, related benefits, real life stories and points to ponder to weigh in our mind.
The Other Side of Silence is not for time pass , this book deserves good hearts to read and not only to read but to bring changes and reforms in life of women. Each part in this poem expresses beautifully the scenarios faced by today's women globally either it be her sufferings as expressed in The Chibok Girl, or it be her happiness as in I am a Lucky Girl. Women are really the Living God , the Creator and a destroyer it all depends on which part she is being feed upon. Author has done great effort and analysis. Shantha H.N you have sowed the seed (" The Other Side of Silence") today, fruits of women reforms will be enjoyed one day. Keep up your good works !!!
The author is from my home town and so much of her writing brought back the sounds and sights of a place much loved. Loved the chapter on her teacher and the other one of the nun. The stories she weaves are in a language that speaks to the heart. Well recommended read.
